Even after upgrading orca, the problem continues. I will send a debug
attached, it may be of some help. Maybe the problem is related to my
environment.
Thanks.

Hey José.
I am not able to reproduce this problem, including in gnome 3.34. That
said, I updated Orca to handle the new name format of apps including
gedit. So maybe whatever is happening in your environment is fixed by
that??

Hi all.
When I start gedit and there is no other instance of the application
running, orca is muted.
To reproduce try the following steps:
1. Make sure there is no instance of gedit running.
2. Run gedit.
Expected result:
Orca should announce the name of the file opened in gedit.
Actual result:
Orca is silent.
Now launch a second instance of gedet and note that orca will
correctly announce the name of the file opened by gedit.
Maybe this has something to do with the fact that I upgraded my
machine to gnome 3.34.
Thanks.
