I did try ReactOS some time back. I do know that it won't ship with
Orca, as it's not Linux/Unix, so at-spi and other API's Orca relies on
won't be present on the system. As for NVDA, it was some years ago
when I tried it, and NVDA at that time was unusable. I couldn't even
get a startup sound. That said, it may work now, though I don't think
I have the necessary hardware to try it, since it relies on x86
hardware and I have all ARM machines at this point. ReactOS does seem
to experience periods of heavy development and periods of slow
development, so there's no telling really how well it will work with
NVDA now. Jaws is a whole nother kettle of fish, so I can't even begin
to speculate whether or not it works on ReactOS. My recommendation
would be to try NVDA again and hope they have been able to duplicate
the API's necessary to make it work at least partially.
