Re: [orca-list] jenux

I am 98% sure I am on the English F123 list, although there aren’t many posts there. I’d love to be able to
keep up more closely with development. I love that key commands mirror NVDA for Windows, that’s gonna bring
down many barriers to entry for many users. The Assistive Tech department where I work is very open to new
technology, so if Linux gets good enough, I could see that as a good, less expensive computer for blind
people for home use, at least, IT or software develpment, if Emacspeak’s speech server for eSpeak could be
improved, or one be created for… Mimic I think is the voice we use in f123 now? Very exciting opportunities
await, truly.

Thanks for your kind words.

Feel free to join one of our lists to get notified about new versions. We are now using both Orca and
Fenrir depending on the situation.

Ah, thanks so much for trying to make F123 as universal as possible. As soon as I have it on a Raspberry
Pi 4 we have, I’ll surely be trying it out. I see so much potential in this, to be not just a beginning
computer for people in developing countries, but to stick with them as they advance, due to the increase
in RAM of the Pi 4. Of course, I’ve been bitten by this positivity, like when trying Android, but we’ll
see what comes of pure Linux, and our drive for greater accessibility and productivity.

It is an experimental X86 installer only. It still has a number of issues we are working on.

In the TArch news, there is an F123 script. Does this install F123 on X86_64 systems?
