Hi Jude,

In Fedora, use of wayland is by default, but it is not required. You can still set it up to use X11. In fact
if you install the Nvidia drivers it will do this for you. Here is how to do it
manually - https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/configuring-xorg-as-default-gnome-session/? Here
is an additional link that give you commands to tell if your on wayland or not -
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora/f31/system-administrators-guide/Wayland/

Take care,

Dave

Given wayland got released and my guess is installers weren't given the
choice of xorg or wayland from the get go, this likely will be the only
way f31 can support its accessibility in the workstation spin. From what
I understand the workstation spin is the only spin fedora offers with any
accessibility in it.
