Figured someone might be interested in this since VSCode is an Electron
app and we can't yet run those:

I browse via Chrome OS these days, with a Linux session running in
Crouton, but I've had some success running this. I've connected via
Chrome, could successfully navigate my project's tree view, etc.
Unfortunately I can't quite make the edit area accessible. I know this
edit widget is accessible, but because it runs on a server, the screen
reader detection doesn't work to make it accessible. Tabbing to it
speaks something about pressing Alt-f1 to enable accessibility mode, but
I think the browser intercepts that. There's probably a setting to
explicitly enable screen reader mode, but I haven't gotten that far.
Anyhow, maybe there's someone more proficient at VSCode than I am who'd
like to try this out under Linux, and who could figure out how to
explicitly enable accessibility in the editor. If not, I'll push this
forward tomorrow and report any findings. But the nice thing about the
internet is tossing out cool things like these and seeing if anyone else
figures them out before you can come back to them. ;)
Enjoy.
