Check that your system have all necessary at-spi installed.

By the way, years ago I contacted the devs to report the fact that
ebooks weren't accessible with screen readers.
I got a really absurd reply, i.e., they couldn't make the text
accessible because of copyright rules... ROFL!!!
I pointed out to them that, if ebooks can't be read by the blind
because of copyright, then they shouldn't be available to sighted
people either...
It was a stupid answer they gave me, and they never replied to my
second email.
Meanwhile, at least some parts of the menus are readable, but not the
books, unless Orca is smarter than NVDA on this, which I'd love...
