Hey folks, having a very tough time with this. I'm trying to use the
Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey extensions under Firefox nightly and Orca
master as of a few days ago. I do the following:
1. Install either the Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey extension.
2. Activate its respective button in the toolbar.
Some sort of extension interface appears, and I have a hard time
interacting with it. In particular, under Tampermonkey, I can't activate
the "New user script" option via mouse click emulation. It always seems
to close the interface and dump me back onto the page I'm viewing, which
in this case is my new tab page. I do a bit better with Greasemonkey--I
can click the New script button, but I can't click some other items on
that page--the Edit button in particular. Mouse review and click
emulation seems to become unreliable or completely unusable whenever
these extension interfaces appear.
Given that these behaviors are kind of similar, I'm wondering if Firefox
is displaying some sort of standardized extension popup interface that
isn't very usable via mouse review? Focus does seem a bit janky, and I
have to tab around a bit before I find anything to interact with. I'm
sure some of this is inaccessible HTML in the extension interface, but
it seems like I should at least be able to make mouse review work, and I
can't.
Thanks.
