Hi Lars,

Here it works as expected:

Press F6 or Alt+D or Control+L to go to the addressbar.

Press Control+C.

In gedit press Control+V.


If you are in the addressbar, if you prefer, press Home to go to the 
beginning, press Shift+End to select and press Cotrol+C to copy.

Success.
