You need to set some Environs to make
QT accessible
export QT_ACCESSIBILITY=1 # for QT4
(needs qt-at-spi)
export QT_LINUX_ACCESSIBILITY_ALWAYS_ON=1 # for QT5 (build in support) cheers chrys
