Re: [orca-list] On pad, when the layout mode is disabled, Orca skips links

Ah, I see what your saying. The problem is that in focus mode, Orca
doesn't control the caret or the presentation. It just reads where you
move. So yes, there is a bug: Orca should present the link on the same
line as "Previous pad:" rather than just not present it. But it should
not do as you suggest and present it when you down arrow to the blank
line. I'll fix it so that it's presented on the same line rather than
ignored.

My guess is that this is another text bug. But I'll take a look.

Hello Joanie and all,

This is one of the major issue one of our blind users report to us
because it prevents her to be involved in the associations where she
want to participate as they mainly use pad to work in collaboration.

Will you accept to prioritize it or will you accept the help of Hypra to
tackle it?

Best regards,
Alex.

Hello all,

Tested environment:
- Debian 8 "Jessie", Firefox ESR 60 with e10s enabled and Orca 3.24
- Debian 9 "Stretch", Firefox ESR 60 and Firefox Nightly 66 with e10s
enabled and Orca master

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open https://pad.lqdn.fr/p/yunohost-17-04-2018
2) Click on first line to ensure your correctly on the pad edition
section (maybe it's another Orca issue?)
3) Unchecked the "Enable layout mode"
4) Switch from navigation to focus if needed
5) Move with down arrow until the line beginning with "Previous pad:"
6) Press down arrow

Result:
Orca moves on next line

Expected result:
Orca should move on the link or read the whole line to ensure the user
will be aware of the link.
I assume the behavior should be the same as it is with Thunderbird
when there is link when user write a message.

Try the same thing in browse mode:
The behavior is correct

Best regards,
Alex.
