Re: [orca-list] other mail clients that work with orca

If you don't like the command line, there's neomutt available. I tried
clawsmail and never got it working since its configuration kept trying
to guess settings and kept getting them wrong. There's galpine a
graphical version of alpine and balsa though I don't know their
accessibility levels. Probably all of these programs ought to have
their own accessibility notes on the orca page to help people with their
choices.

Too much concentration on thunderbird is fine so long as thunderbird
continues to work for users but it's good to have workable alternatives
available against the day when thunderbird for whatever reason is no
longer supported.

I've been using Linux as my primary operating system since 2011, and I've
tried Evolution off and on that whole time, and I've never found it
accessible, so those must have been really old times!

You might want to try to give SeaMonkey a try, but it might suffer from the
same issues you're having with Thunderbird, since it shares much of the same
code.

If you don't need a GUI client, you could try Mutt from the command line. It
supports IMAP.

I'm not sure, but I assume you're looking for something other than
Thunderbird, which is what I use.
