For example, this is how I noticed it. I was in the terminal, and had
Pidgin open, a new chat window popped up, usual stuff, but Orca
immediately began to lag in the terminal, my focused window. An alt+tab
fixed it, but is this a known issue with just Pidgin or does it happen
with other apps, if you're focused in window 1, and windo 2 is drawn on
the screen (f.ex Pidgin chat window appearing)
Can anyone confirm if it's just a Pidgin issue or if other apps cause this?
My environment is Ubuntu 18.04 with all updates applied, with 16 GB RAM
and an i5 processor. I'm not sure if my system plays into it but I
figured I'd include those specs. I don't have a debug.out because
nothing unusual happened, I can still navigate around perfectly fine,
but the sound output appears to lag immensely till there's an alt tab.
