Re: [orca-list] Orca master doesn't read the bluetooth icon in mate desktop

Hey Alex.

What I see when I look in Accerciser is a role panel which -- according
to Accerciser -- has no children. But based upon Accerciser's
highlighting feature, this nameless panel contains all the icons which
belong in the system tray / notification area including, but not limited
to both the bluetooth icon and the dropbox icon. I could be wrong, but
if it were merely a labelling issue, I would expect to see accessible
objects, individually highlighted, for each item in that area.

FWIW.

I remember something like that but I don't think it is a Mate issue. I
think it's a labeling issue in the Blueman side.

@Andy: Are you able to report the issue against Blueman and tell me
about it?

Best regards,
Alex.

If memory serves me, that is a MATE panel bug. Alex, are you aware of
this issue?

Hi,

System: Ubuntu 18.04.1, Orca master, Mate desktop.

Orca master doesn't read the bluetooth icon in the top bar.

1. Cycle to the top panel by pressing ALT+CONTROL+ESC until you reach
the top panel.

2. Once on the top panel, arrow through the icons.

Actual result: When putting focus on the bluetooth icon, Orca says
"menu."

Expected result: Orca reads the bluetooth status, or at very least,
"bluetooth menu."
