I use Google Calendar and Google Keep just through the web interface.
It's a bit of a tedious interface, but I like the fact that I'm synced
across all of my devices.
I also use Org mode with Emacs and Emacspeak.

Thunderbird now includes the Lightning plugin which provides calendars
and related features, though from my experience it has less than good
accessibility. Perhaps some tweaks would improve it. I also use Org mode
with the org-caldav-sync package for Emacs.

Is there an app which works with Orca for keeping reminders/appointments?
I couldn't find such a thing in my Ubuntu Mate 18.4 system unless
people just use the features in Thunderbird which has some sort of
appointment thing or calendar thing for events.
If not I will just have to use my phone as I have normally done.
