Adding to what Chrys said, run the check-dependancies script, the .py one with python3 check-dependancies.py and install the missing things until it says setup ok. THen try running Fenrir again Now, Chrys, question. I got all the dependancies running, did sudo install.sh and got it installed, intending to run it from the fenrir-daemon, but got errors about unable to create daemons even if I ran as sudo. Yet the normal fenrir worked fine. On Wed, Oct 17, 2018 at 08:34:18PM +0200, chrys wrote:
Howdy, did you install the dependencies? what error appears? cheers chrys Am 17.10.18 um 19:57 schrieb Michael Weaver via orca-list:I have just tried to test Fenrir on my system. I typed the following command at the mate terminal:sudo src/fenrir/fenrir and got an error message when I entered my password so obviously I don't know how to actually get the source code to make it work so I am wondering if the Ubuntu package for Fenrir is needed before I can type the command to test it._______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.htmlLog bugs and feature requests at http://bugzilla.gnome.org_______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/ GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.html Log bugs and feature requests at http://bugzilla.gnome.org
