Re: [orca-list] Running orca on light wait graphical environmenyts

Is your Raspberry Pi the 3B or the 3B+? The 3B+ will give you better overall performance, because it has a faster CPU and faster networking, including half-gig ethernet and 5GHz wifi. In any case, MATE on the Raspberry Pi has been known to work with Orca, although on older versions, it tends to lag a bit.

It may be easier to download the latest public test image from

It is designed to come up talking with a user-friendly first-boot setup and an easy to use menu to get you started. It is also designed to perform well on any Raspberry Pi3, although it does only run in 32-bit compatibility mode for now. F123Light is still a work in progress in an early stage of development, so if you find problems, don't hesitate to report them. An e-mail list has been set up at f123e+subscribe groups io where you can discuss your findings and/or suggestions.
