Dear MR Wood,
I have positive experience with Wxpython while running Windows. NVDA
screen reader uses this GUI toolkit to create NVDA menus, Edit box and
other NVDA related GUI elements.
BUt I do not know, if Wxpython is accessible across various GTK 2 and 3
versions in Linux. Try Orca with some Wypython app. May be, that
somebody who is experienced will give you A piece of advice in this topic.
