Hello. I am sorry, I don't want to be rude, but I have got bad experiences. Some companies recommends to use old browsers, because they cannot or don't want to repair bugs in their products. I was afraid, it would be with Orca too, because there are no much developers and no much time. Sorry again, Joanie and others.
Thanks.
Best regards

Hello Vojtěch, if I understand well Joanie does not deny at all the need of fixing these issues and using recent versions of browsers and email program. Rather her questions' aim is helping investigate these issues Find a possible recent change that could have caused these problems can indeed save a lot of time, instead of searching a needle in a haystack, so to speak. It would be good to repair these problems. I am using Ubuntu 18.04, I am fine, but I am thinking about other linux users and their comfort job. thanks. Best regards Vojta. Pretty much the same reply as I sent for your other message: I'll take a look, but does this problem also occur with Thunderbird version 52? Thanks! --joanie On 11/6/18 10:51 AM, Jean-Philippe MENGUAL wrote:Hi, Here is the log: http://demo.accelibreinfo.eu/debug-2018-11-06-16:35:58.out I would like to understand which fix should be done to fix 2 lag situations: 1. Run orca from the terminal 2. press alt-tab to go to the Thunderbird main window Before getting the focus ready to move, I need to wait for at least 10 seconds. The only particular thing, and probably useful for the next lag, is that the folder where is the focus is 2000 mails. Last thing, I use an addon, select-inbox so that at Thunderbird starting, the focus is immediately located in the newest message of the first inbox folder. Finally, I use Lightning as a schedule, which creates regular lags/freeze of the focus when sync with Google Agenda and a remote calendar. 2. Once in the folder, I press shift-tab, then Home, then down arrow to go to the inbox folder in the tree. Orca moves the focus in a delay of at least 30 seconds. If, due to impatience, I press the down arrow again, when the focus is active again, it is on Dragt folder, showing that it moves on Thunderbird, just Orca does not follow it before. Could some fix be applied?
