Yes, Espeak is about the best thing going for now. There is Mimic, but I 
don't think it's working with speech-dispatcher yet, and mostly it uses 
Flite voices, some of which are pretty good, but others of which are 
terrible. I need to take another look at Mimic though, as I'm sure there 
have been significant changes made since I last tried it.
