Hello Nolan,

If you don't want to spend your time with GNOME bugs, you could try Mate 
that take care of accessibility in its upgrade. It's because of the lack 
of accessibility consideration we've decided to choose Mate.

If you have the time and desire to report bug, I think it could help 
other people.
