I am already using it.

Just do a sudo apt-get install emacs emacspeak and hit enter.

It will ask for several options and you can just hit enter on every one of them.

For example It will ask you if espeak is the speech server.

After installing however, what you wish to do is important and that is where you have to configure it a lot.

By the way there is absolutely no problems with Orca running in the background.

Some people disable speach before starting emacspeak.
