Re: [orca-list] web browsers, was, orca crashing randomly?

I've never tried  c monkey on linux, I did on windows once, and it reminds me of firefox a lot.

Anyway, Thanks all for your help for now. I'll keep looking.

The text based browsers do sound interesting, i'll have to investigate that.

I guess it doesn't count as another browser, but I did mention Seamonkey. I believe there are also text based browsers as well. Not sure if they are what you're looking for or not.

Hello.

Changing the subject line here in hopes of getting additional answers.

Is there really no browser aside from firefox that works with orca?

Thanks.

I use Orca with Firefox just fine myself.

I'll also bring up Chrome with ChromeVox from time to time. It doesn't work with Orca though.

You could also try Seamonkey. I'm not sure if it would have the same problem or not.

So what other browsers can i use?

Not familiar with what works and what doesn't work on linux yet.

Gonna chime in here and say I've noticed this too, more with resource heavy items on a slower/older system, but (mostly) ditching FF seems hopefully to have cured it. as has using the latest Orca from github.

Hi.

I'm pretty sure it is. It starts on boot anyway, It just seems to
randomly turn off at times.
