I can reproduce using gedit.

1. open pluma
2. write a sentence and then return
3. go back with the arrow and then back down
result: orca repeats the sentence
expected result: orca says empty.

if it is an explicit request that I missed, please excuse me, I am happy to adapt this new function :)
