I had a little luck writing a generic speech-dispatcher driver. The 
problem is that that driver had to speak using a separate interface, as 
the only way I know to make Mary speak is using either its complicated 
Java program or by running a server and forming an HTTP URL and playing 
the resulting .wav data. If there is a better (read faster) method of 
access, let the list know.
