commands/steps for updating Orca
Hi,
you can take this side here although the Orca there is for 17.10:
https://www.ubuntuupdates.org/package/core/artful/main/base/gnome-orca
There I took the deb-file and installed it with "software". Since that time
I work with Orca 3.26.0.
Greetings,

I thought it was gnome-orca, and, what're the
risks that if i do this, that something could go wrong.
I have my system at a state where if I messed
it up, it wouldn't be the worst thing, but I'd still rather not if I could
help it.

Hello!
You should upgrade your Ubuntu by
sudo
apt-get upgrade
But if you want to update just Orca, you have to open
terminal by
ctrl+alt+t, than write
sudo apt-get install
orca
