Hello Andy,

To add a new panel:
1) Go to the bottom or top panel
2) Press ctrl+F10 and choose "add to panel"


To remove a panel
1) Go to the bottom or top panel
2) Press the menu key and choose "remove"
If you don't find remove unchecked the "lock to panel" checkbox
