Howdy, It's a pitty you can't get mumble from git installed, it has more features and is better a11y wise as well too. maybe check and see if they offer a mumble-snapshot package. Here are a couple suggestions you can try to get it up and going. Mumble, the old version, is a QT4 app. The easiest fix to your problem is, there may be a windows that pops up when you first open it that is inaccessible. So, when you first open mumble, press escape and see if that clears up the issue. If that's all that is wrong, you should be able to access mumble correctly. If that doesn't solve the problem, check if qt-at-spi is installed. I assume it is already, but I'm just trying to cover all the bases. It looks like you have all the right stuff exported. I put mine in the ~/.xinitrc file, but same deal. HTH Storm On Wed, May 17, 2017 at 04:04:51PM -0400, Dave Hunt wrote:
If you've gotten mumble to work, with the accessibility to orca, in Fedora 25 Workstation, using GNOME, I want to hear from you. Nothing I have yet tried has resulted in success. I have made a file called a11y.sh in /etc/profile.d, in which I set and export variables like QT_ACCESSIBILITY, QT5_ACCESSIBILITY_Always_ON and GTK_MODULES. I have also instqlled the 32-bit qt4 stuff, thinking Redhad built mumble that way. Lastly, I've tried to build mumble from git, only to find that Fedora is missing the build dependency called qmake. What have I not yet done? Thanks, Dave Hunt email: dahunt posteo de _______________________________________________ orca-list mailing list orca-list gnome org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/orca-list Orca wiki: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Orca Orca documentation: https://help.gnome.org/users/orca/stable/ GNOME Universal Access guide: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/a11y.html Log bugs and feature requests at http://bugzilla.gnome.org
