The problem is a major issue for voice-only user. If we select pico with
the default voice Orca no longer speaks.
I think it's a matter of voice gender. Indeed, since Orca 3.22 Espeak
could only be used with MALE even if we have configured
speech-dispatcher to use FEMALE voice.
@Joanie : You could easily checks that with these steps :
1) Update the speech-dispatcher configuration file to use FEMALE instead
of MALE voice. The line is :
> DefaultVoiceType "FEMALE1"
2) Restart speech-dispatcher
3) Launch Orca with espeak
Result with 3.22 : Orca speaks but with male voice.
Result with 3.20 : Orca speaks with female voice
