I am not sure, but it seems that this option is present only when
you are running a nightly version of firefox.
I am running the nightly version and until now I didn't receive a
crash message.

To determine if you use multi-process version or not you can go

preferences, general tab and check the state of the checkbox
"Active
multi-process mode" (I'm not sure of the wording because I use

French translation).
