Hi Benjamin,

What version of openSUSE are you using? If you're using Tumbleweed, then 
brltty should be authenticating via polkit, so running orca should just 
work, but the package in Leap still uses the default key-based 
authentication, and you'd need to add your user to the brlapi group.
