Re: [orca-list] Running Orca with Braille under OpenSUSE

Hi Benjamin,

What version of openSUSE are you using? If you're using Tumbleweed, then brltty should be authenticating via polkit, so running orca should just work, but the package in Leap still uses the default key-based authentication, and you'd need to add your user to the brlapi group.

Hello everyone,

I tried to run Orca under a OpenSUSE with Braille using BrlTTY.

Unfortunately, braille didn?t work for me. It works in the text mode, so brltty may not be the root cause.

Of course, braille output is enabled in Orca settings.

It seems that Orca cannot interact with BrlTTY.

Can anyone give some advice?

Thanks a lot and regards,

Ben
