Re: [orca-list] problems with menus in terminal

Hey José.

Thanks! You seem to have a couple of spurious events that I don't. I've
committed two changes to master: The first ignores an event which I
think is safe to ignore and which might be causing speech to be
interrupted. The second is just debugging output because I would like to
know what that nameless menu is which is claiming focus before I ignore
its event. Therefore, could you please send me a new debug.out from master?

Thanks!

In attach a debug file.

It seems that orca will start to speak edit but is interrupted.

Hey José.

This is working correctly for me. I'm using Orca master with Fedora 25
and gnome-terminal 3.22.0. If you can reliably reproduce this, a full
debug.out captured from master would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi all.

I am not sure if this is related to the fact that now I am using gnome
3.22 or to some changes in scripts used by orca in gnome-terminal.

To reproduce try the following steps:

1. Open terminal.
2. Press the f10 key.
3. Press the right arrow key.

Orca should read edit menu but instead orca reads only menu.
I can capture a debug file if it can not be reproduced.
Thanks.
