[orca-list] mate panel broken with orca stable

hi all
After the last round of at-spi2 and gtk3 updates, the mate panel seems
to be broken with orca. Not broken exactly, but orca will focus on the
panel but will no longer read any of it's icons, no matter how many
times I go back and forth over it. Very very occasionally, I can get it
to read the weather icon, and the ethernet icon, but it's random and not
reliable. This is with mate 1.12 and orca stable, 3.20.2. I can provide
a debug log if needed.
