Re: [orca-list] switching languages

Hallo list,
Thanks for :
"Pressing Orca key and Spacebar takes me to the Orca preferences. "
Now I can change to espeak and choose the language

But in which file does it store that setting?
I want to make a script again that i can invoke with a key combination
to change that file, that way I can easily switch between languages.
Is it stored in the Orca python bin file mentioned?
And what is the filename and path to that Orca python bin file ?

Robert

The solution I have found is to place this line in the Orca python bin
file :

|os.environ["LANG"]="fr_FR.UTF-8" (change by your language)|

Maybe it is possible to do thing in another way but I doesn't find it.

Best regards.

Hallo list,
How can I switch the language in orca 3.10.3 (in Ubuntu 14.04) without
changing the system language.?
The old preferencess screen is gone, and using commandline orca -t
changes the language but is reset automatically after a few seconds.

Which config file could I edit?

I wanted to use espeak and need to switch frequently between several
languages.
