Yes, I can do that. I review Impress accessibility since about two weeks

1: making presentations and doing all the stuff including title slide, other slides etc

You can do that. You should use version 4.2.6.

2: giving a presentation using Impress which may include reading speaker notes etc

I'm not sure about that. You can read speaker note when you are in edit mode as I've seen the slide show mode is completely inaccessible.
