Re: [orca-list] Nvda addons in Orca

Dear sir,
Nvda Addons are using other version of Python than Orca. Orca have other
structure relatedto its object Python structure than NVDA. NVDA addons
Vocalizer are calling .dll library. Sothis libraryhave been compiled
specially for Windows. So first of all, Nuance corporation would had to
make new engine like a .so library for Linux and it is very complex and
not real according tomy opinion.
Yes, Iveta for Android exist, but this voice is written specially for
Android platform. It is illegal to reverse engineer The procedure names
and inside .solibrary of Iveta for Android.
And, .so file for Android have been compiled specifically for Android
operating system,it is not compatible with X876 platform in Linux, if
developer did not compile this library specifically for Android X86
platform.
Next problem is, that somebody would had to writespeech-dispatcher
driverfile for some Vocalizer voice to communicate with its .so library
files.
So try to contact Nuance and please them, if they could write .so
library for Linux operating system.
