Hi
You can either disable braille permanently or per application. The steps
are the same either way. To disable braille permanently, press
orca+space to open the orca preferences, press either control+page down
or right arrow until you get to the braille tab, press space on the
"enable braille" checkbox, and press ok. To disable braille for icedove,
when in icedove, press orca+control+space to open the preferences
dialogue for only that application, go to the braille page by pressing
control+page down or right arrow, uncheck the "enable braille" check
box, and press ok.
