Re: [orca-list] Silence orca only in current application

hi
I'll second this. I've been wanting something like this for pidgin when
I want to silence irc but still hear speech im ptjer apps. One caveat
though. I'd have this feature only work per session. That is, if you
silence orca in a particular app, it stays silent only until orca is
restarted. I say this so that you don't forget you have orca silenced in
that app and then wonder why it's not speaking. I'd also like the
ability to have orca automatically read incoming text from a particular
app just by pressing a keystroke, but I don't know how easy this is to
do. A good example of this would be the tintin mud client. Orca already
reads the terminal, but if I could hset it to automatically read any new
incoming text, that would be useful.

Hi all.
If I press orca_key+s, orca stays mute until I press orca_key+s again,
no matter what the active applications are running.

A feature that might be useful would be able to silence the orca only
for the current application.

With this feature I could run a self voice application and still listen
to messages / notifications issued by other applications.

What you guys think about this suggestion ? Does it make sense ?
Thanks.
