Re: [orca-list] MATE notifications

Hi.
Seems that the scripts that process events for notification-daemon do not save messages like the scripts that process events for notify-osd.
Another point is that there are no braille output in the script.
I'll try to fix.

Here: http://sprunge.us/LXZQ

1. Run orca
2. HL on IRC (notification is spoken)
3. alt-tab
4. Try repeating the latest notification, Orca says "no notif"

Hi,

2 examples:
1. Dropbox: when someone changes a file in the sha!ed folder, a notification pops-up. Orca speaks it, but impossible to repeat through the bindings. 2. IRC: smux. When somebody HL you, a notification appears. Orca speaks it, but not possible to !epeat.

Do you want a debug file with notif + binding in Orca?

Hi.
Can you tell me a message that should be presented in the notification?
I need to identify who and when the notification was generated.
Thanks.

Hi,

Is it helpful? http://sprunge.us/edZa

I ran Orca, then ins-f10, f9, f8 for notif list, last, previous. I'm sure there are notif at the screen.

Hi.
Is it possible send me an orca debug file with some notifications?
I do not run mate, so I can not generate debugs.
Thanks.

Hi,

I tried to affect bindings to the Orca commands: speak the last notification message; the previous; the notifications list. When I press the binding on MATE, "no notification message", whereas I know there were.

Are you aware of this? Is it explainable? I'm sure it has worked, but not just now. I'm on orca 3.16 and MATE 1.10 (Debian testing).

Should I report bug to mate-notification? What kind of debug log can I generate?

Regards,
