Actually, I have reported the issue. they told me that the problem is
the newest gdk-pixbuf in current arch repos, a fix is to install older
one, or a newer one from arch testing.

I've not seen an update in a long time, maybe it's one of the AUR
packages I have to manually check , but I'll make a back up before

Speaking of that, what distro are you using, and how about just
rolling back to a more stable release if this is indeed the issue?
