I certainly  hope that even with prefferences being handled by gsettings we continue to have an orca prefs 
window, independent of graphical desktop 
control centers. Window managers do not have, and are unliikely to get control centers. I really like the 
current orca prefs interface, but even if this 
is greatly changed to be more consistent with other control center items it needs to be available without 
requiring people to enter a possibly 
non-existent control center.
