1. Launch gnome-terminal. I am running version 3.16.2.
2. Press the WindowsKey+f10 and choose the about option.
3. Press the escape key.
4. Try type something in terminal or read the screen using the flat mode.
In my machine orca stays mute.
I need to press alt+tab and alt+shift+tab to restore the normal
behaviour.
