hi
I've seen this myself. I even saw one case when orca had frozen, the
memory usage jumped to several hundred megabytes. I have noticed one
pretty persistent problem I'm not sure how to solve. The current
stable version of speech-dispatcher sometimes, I haven't found a
predictable way to reproduce this, leaves a duplicate copy of
sd_espeak around that idles at 25 percent of CPU and stays there. This
is on my intel i5-3400 quad-core at 3.20 ghz. Espeak continues to be
snappy though so it's obviously not impacting performance.
Thanks
Kendell clark
