I originally leaned toward showing the itemss in the list of three and then the others as "one of one", i.e.
I was certainly in the minority.
After a bit more reflection I am less inclined to want to change things as a default behavior, but although
I can't think of how to call an option to
change how such lists with separaters are read I do think having that option makes some sense.

I don't follow. So far I've not proposed changing anything. I'm trying
to ascertain if the current behavior in which the menu items are treated
as a one big group is preferred or if dividing the menu items into
subgroups is. From all of the responses I've read thus far, people seem
to prefer the current behavior rather than a change.
So could you please clarify what your preference is? Thanks!
