[orca-list] issue with display managers and orca

hi all
I've been trying to find an accessible login manager for the beta
version of sonar mate. I've tried lightdm, and mdm. Lightdm's gtk
greeter was recently fixed to add orca support, which works. However,
after logging into my mate session and attempting to start orca, I get
the following errors. Sep 17 02:19:33 honey kernel: traps: orca[2241]
trap int3 ip:7f7fbb5f6d00 sp:7fffcdb99a70 error:0
Sep 17 02:19:53 honey systemd-coredump[2341]: Process 2241 (orca) of
user 1000 dumped core.
I've had to switch back to lxdm for now, which odly enough doesn't
generate this error. Mdm produces the exact same error. I thought
about reporting this to mdm or lightdm, but they're completely
different login managers using different code, so I thought I'd come
here. Mdm has an accessibility page in it's setup program, which
includes an enable screen reader option, but if orca won't start after
you log in. I'm completely stumped. I've never seen orca cause a trap.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Kendell clark
