jessie
Debian is thinking of its default DE
(debian-accessibility mailinglist). I guess in current Jessie, it's gnome
however.
What do you mean "stupid menu"? Can you describe your starting
process? your choices? the results? the problem?

ok so see the wiki, it mentions the needed
commands to enable on gdm3. You can alternatively try ctrl-s or
ctrl-super-s.
