Hi all,

Just want to share my thoughts on the f-123 linux distro. I installed it to a vm for the first time and
took a look at the help file which comes up at start up. At first I had no trouble with this. Now how
ever I ran into a problem when trying to switch to the experimental orca with the following command which
was given. experimental-orca. I first was asked for my password which I typed with no problem. I then
received the message, switching to experimental orca please wait followed by screenreader off. I waited
for a few minutes to see if it would come back, but nothing. I then tried to return to the stable orca
with the command stable-orca. I still got no speech.

I then rebooted and no speech from orca at the sign in screen so I entered my login info and within a few
seconds I heard f-123 followed by a bell, but no sound from orca.

I then tried to reinstall the os and after doing so and loving in I got the screen reader on message, but
then it was silenced again and that is where I am now. Any ideas on what may have happened? How do I
unable the experimental orca without breaking the system? If anyone else has had a chance to play with
this please share your experiences as I really would like to play with this considering there is a way to
use the experimental version of orca. Thanks.

Matthew
