Re: [orca-list] beeps on progress bar updates, thoughts?

Well, beeping progress bars are %100 in orcas court, no need to beg, prod or even try and work with other devs who may are not be willing and capible of doing their part. Libreoffice bugs should be dealt with whenever possible of course, and there's certainly some willingness and interest on the LO side, but then again, there are so many LO devs that I wonder if it's easy to know who to work with. Is making aviword accessible at all practical with the program as it now is? I'm asking, no idea, but I'd thought not. I thought that things were close with evolution. Is the remianing work Orca side, or still mostly for Evolution coders to deal with?

I'm with Alex, here, on the 'feature creep'. Let's get orca working as wello as it can, on as many apps as it can. Long-standing bugs and performance hits in libreoffice, parity of Evolution access with that of Thunderbird, and access to gnumeric, gnucash, and abi-word are a few examples. I've never heard of gnumeric, so wonder if I'm an outlier, or if this is a niche issue that effects very few people?
Again, I'm certainly not in favor of weeks of Joanie's time going in to this, but if with the help of other folks this could be done with little time investment on her part it seems like a good thing to do.
