Re: [orca-list] starting orca on the zorinOS live dvd

It looks like it ships with gnome-orca 3.10, if I read correctly odd as they have newest kernel, but you can
put a newer version on if you like the OS.
No clue how accessible the interface will be, but report on what you find.
With version I'm not sure, nor have I checked in to what installer they use, but try control s, and if that
does not work alt super s,
If they use a standard Ubuntu installer, then you should be able to install eyes-free, and be good to test.
If you get it booted and it's not responding to the suggested keybindings, try typing alt f2 and then after a
couple seconds orca.
In case something hung and you still do not have speech press alt f2 again, and then orca --replace, and lst
chance would be
to open a terminal and type orca --replace
Good luck.

Hello, All,

How do I start orca on the zorinOS live dvd? I am considering
installing zorinOS to my computer. Please let me know by Monday,
because that's when I will be getting a couple of blank dvd's on one
of which I will burn the zorinOS iso file. Any help would be
appreciated.

Sincerely,
