[orca-list] orca starting, but not talking at login

Hi.  I am using gnome 3.12 and orca does start when I start gdm, but it
does not speak.  I am using speech-dispatcher in system mode and if I do
startx, or even login somehow using gdm, orca speaks correctly.  Anyone
know a solution to this  problem?
