[orca-list] Thunderbird daily regression?

I do not know if perhaps I was exceedingly lucky for a few sessions, or
if a new nightly thunderbuild has broken things again; but sadly, very,
very sadly, I'm getting msg list out of sync with actual messages again
regularly.
So far this has responded to changeing folders and coming back to where
I'm actually working, but can I be 100% confident in this, and having to
do this each time I move or delete a message is hardly more efficient
than  checking messages by tabbing in to header and back.
If you hear thumping sounds it's me kicking my own backside for not
freezing t-bird-daily updates with a good version a few days ago. I
think a couple versions at least were fine, but much less than sure now.
